*** I have wanted a Bowflex for quite sometime, but was having a hard time justifying the price. I came across the PR 1000 on Amazon.com and found the the price I was looking for. It took about 3 hours to put together and the machine looks sexy sitting in my bedroom. My only complaint is that I was missing 1 nut, but that was an easy fix at the hardware store. I wanted the Bowflex because I am a middle aged man with a spare tire and I dont get much exercise at my desk job. The first thing about the machine is that when I sat down to start the exercises, I noticed how sturdy it was. There was no rocking around on the seat and everything was in easy reach. I also liked the fact that was no jerking motion like you get with free weights. Every exercise is smooth. I began to feel the burn after the first 5 reps and was really getting into using this machine. I highly reccomend this unit to anyone who gets little exercise like I do. It gives me just the right amount resistance that I am looking for. I am not looking to become Mr. Olympia. I just needed a machine that will allow me to thin down and tone up. The Bowflex PR 1000 gets 5 stars and 2 thumbs up
