Jan Todd is a pioneer of women’s strength sports and was widely considered the Strongest Woman in the World for over a decade. She was the first woman inducted into the International Powerlifting Hall of Fame after a career that included more than 60 National and World Records, including being the first woman to Total over 1000, 1100 and 1200 Pounds and had PRs of 545 Pounds in the Squat and 475 Pounds in the Deadlift. She famously was also the first woman to lift the legendary Dinnie Stones. Also with her husband, Terry, Jan founded the Stark Center for Physical Culture and Sports at the University of Texas.
