I finally got to marry my best friend!!!! Our journey to get married has been one that came with many setbacks but I’m so happy to be Mrs. Houdyshell!
A little back story on our 5 year engagement: Dustin proposed to me 5 years ago at El Matador State Park on the beach during sunset. Our goal was to get married soon after but life had other ideas for us. The first year after our engagement I got to be a part of my brother’s wedding and the next year I tragically lost my brother in an ATV accident that wrecked our world and drove us to start our online fitness company. The following year, Dustin and I were victims of a gun violence attack that left me shot and immobile for many months. After my recovery, we were then ready to say ‘I Do’ only to be hit with another setback – the pandemic. After 4 years of unexpected events, I was finally able to marry my best friend on year 5 and I couldn’t be anymore excited to finally be able to call myself Mrs. Houdyshell!

I hope you can feel all the love and happiness on this day just like we did. It was the best day ever and we wouldn’t have changed a thing!
